Hopes and Expectations for Our Next Priest
Our parish survey revealed that the community would like a priest who will:
· Be a nurturing and inclusive pastor who challenges us to grow in our Christian faith community and in our communities at large · Be a preacher with a sense of humor who will teach us and show us God’s relevance in our lives and in our world · Be a caring minister who is available in our moments of critical need, i.e., hospitalization or emotional crisis · Be a capable administrator who effectively coordinates and manages the support staff as well as the leadership and lay ministers of our parish · Be an able spiritual and Christian educator who will design and implement programs that develop and strengthen our lay persons for ongoing ministries and outreach
