Our Parish & Neighborhood
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is located in Fruitland Park, a small, historic community located in northern Lake County along U.S. Highway 441/27 between Leesburg and Ocala. The parish campus of nine acres contains the 1888 church building, a Parish Hall with offices and classrooms, and the Episcopal Church School building. In addition, there is a large playing field for soccer and other activities, as well as a cemetery and memorial garden behind the church. There is also a rectory of about 1400 square feet on a small lake adjacent to the campus .
Fruitland Park is about an hour’s drive north of Orlando and its many family attractions, including Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios. It had an estimated population of about 4,215 in 2007. Although a small town, it is surrounded by enormous growth, fueled for the most part by the development of The Villages, a 70,000+ mega retirement community that will be home to over 100,000 residents when completely built out by 2012. |
